Allows the automatic creation of backup files for the data.
The Configure/Auto Backup command is selected from the Utilities task.
Clicking the Auto Backup menu item will toggle Auto Backup between active and inactive. A tick indicates that it is active. The Auto Backup file is given the extension .~se.
Switching Auto Backup from inactive to active automatically creates a backup of the currently open data base in the current working folder. This enables a backup to be created any time the file is open.
If Auto Backup is active, then a backup file will also automatically be created at the time of opening a data base.
Only the last backup created for each data base is available for use.
The backup may be restored at the time of closing a data base if Auto Backup is active by clicking NO to the Save Changes question. Refer also to the Files/Close command.
