to a good investment when you get maximum use of your
surveying and engineering software. The powerful and flexible
geographically indexed data base combined with the
extensive functionality of LISCAD ensures
the best return on your investment.
Create points, lines, arcs, circles, splines, spirals, text and polygons by
using a comprehensive suite of COGO computations. This module also supplies
strong geodetic computational ability.
Combinations of spirals and arcs can be created using the Combined Curve
function. Alignments can be created, which turn any lines, including combined
curves into design objects for civil engineering
applications.
There is support for special object types applicable to cadastral computations
such as offsets and splays. Created data and objects are
displayed instantly on the
screen.
Attributes such as colour, size, symbols, line types, polygon hatching and
fonts, to name a few, can be automatically set to points, lines, alignments,
text and polygons, and there are numerous editing facilities that give the user
the ability to manipulate objects as well as edit the attributes of the
objects.
LISCAD has the facility to examine the attributes and coordinates of
points, lines, polygons, text and alignments plus the ability to examine the
relationships between objects.
Lines and arcs are able to be computed by "Best Fit" from a selection of
points.
The Exchange Axis function provides the ability to swap the X, Y and Z axis
with each other. Ideal for façade surveys.
Disable points, lines and text enabling you to overlay
road design data on top of existing objects
without having to delete them or having to put them on a
new layer. This provides a quick means of allowing an
integrated digital terrain model (DTM) to be generated without interfering with the original information.
When used in conjunction with the raster
Background Images module, the comprehensive suite of computation
techniques can be used to digitize features on screen.
